New track: RAG, MCP, no hand-waving

A Fresh Prompt Engineering Track

A new Prompt Engineering track covering advanced RAG and Model Context Protocol, alongside the free 7-in-7 GPT courses.

See upcoming classes

This issue is dressed as Abstract Tech

Liz scheduled a new track of Prompt Engineering, revamped to cover Advanced RAG and Model Context Protocol as the AI world standardizes tool use around MCP.

The free custom GPT courses for learning to code remained available, including the cyberdefense and cyberassault editions. Math and Python continued as Community Classes, open to anyone on any tier or anyone who has paid for a class.

The CyberPony Express session that week asked where to put the Meshtastic nodes, and the robots program was announced for June.

Multiverse Programs

ok the robots thing will be starting in June. Yes, you can apply to get involved. Let's seize those means.

I scheduled a new track of Prompt Engineering! We've revamped and updated the Prompt Engineering curriculum to cover Advanced RAG, and Model Context Protocol since it seems like the AI world is standardizing tools around MCP.

Resist

Multiverse Crew-

The CyberPony Express continues, we'll meet virtually for the next few sessions. This week: Hardware Strategy. Wanna join in? Sign up here. This week: Where Do We Put These Things?

In an unrelated note, are you in a red state? Please make contact with your local queer community centers, and then get me introduced. Time is of the essence.

Please contribute to the resistance repo. We are making some agitprop bots, please contribute propaganda. We need both relatable memes (hooks) and propaganda memes. This will also serve as a decent collection of the kinds of meme propaganda we've been exposed to.

Solarpunk Standup is going on still - this is first assembly. Bring your problems, needs, and we'll get the community problem-solving. This is included in any membership tier and for anyone currently in a class or anyone I've said can just come.

Job Search / Brandup Standup will be from 9am - 10am Pacific. This is where you'll work on either search for jobs (literally apply to jobs, put in proposals, pitch contracts, do outbound emails), or your personal brand (literally the stuff like your website, social media post, mass communications, etc).

Learning some tech stuff?

Are you learning some tech stuff? We launched a lot of free tools for learning to code recently. These are Custom GPTs that will run fully customizable courses- just tell them where you're at! They each assume some amount of knowledge, but if you don't have it, that's fine! Just tell them how new (or how experienced) you are and it will add enough supplementary materials for you.

  2. 7 Clouds in 7 Weeks
  3. 7 Machine Learning Domains in 7 Weeks
  4. 7 Layers in 7 Weeks - CyberDefense
  5. 7 ATT&CKs in 7 Weeks - CyberAssault

We need both relatable memes (hooks) and propaganda memes.

Liz

Math and Python are still being run as Community Classes- this means if you're on any tier (or frankly if you've paid for a class at one point) you can drop in to get help with Math or Python.

Don't forget to join us on Matrix, where we'll stay tight-knit and coordinated, run mutual aid groups, and keep everyone safe. This is going to be a rough few years. Let's keep each other safe and sane.

See you at first assembly.

You'll join either Job Search Standup or the BrandUp Standup. We'll spend an hour a day working on your brand, or finding a job and nothing else.
